Pilates Matwork classes are a great way of exercising in a group environment, in a non-competitive way. Classes last an hour, and are kept to a maximum of 12 people. This small number allows the teacher to adequately supervise the class, making sure everyone is working at their own level, and also favouring a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Classes are set up at different levels from total beginners to advance. Progression from one level to another is entirely individual depending on several factors, from health issues to attendance. However, people are encouraged in a positive and supportive way to always challenge themselves within their capabilities to allow them to progress further.
You will need to wear comfortable clothes, suitable for exercise, and either socks or bare feet. A water bottle and a small towel are also advised. If you would like to find out more, please contact me directly on firstname.lastname@example.org
Please complete the Health Questionnaire before your first class.
